The Personalized Dental Plan (PDP)

A unique element of my practice of relationship-based Exceptional Dentistry is the Personalized Dental Plan (PDP). The PDP is our roadmap to achieving and maintaining ideal dental health for the rest of your life. We prepare a PDP after we have completed a comprehensive exam and extensive consultation with the patient to ensure the patient has had an opportunity to fully explain his or her dental desires. Some dentists refer to the appointment when the patient receives a treatment plan as a diagnosis or DX.

At Rye Smiles for Life, the appointment at which you receive your PDP is much more than a diagnosis. I spend hours considering each patient’s dental situation and desires, the available treatments and technology to achieve the patient’s desired outcome, and the options available to the patient to treat their needs and achieve their dreams. At your appointment, we go over our recommended treatments, your options, and any other considerations you choose to discuss with us.

Many cosmetic dentists are capable of showing you the beautiful work they have done for previous patients and are often times in a hurry to do the same thing for you. I have a different approach. I may show you my previous work so that you can see how I custom fit dentistry to my patients, but I am committed to taking the time to know each patient and their desires. Only then can my team and I address all of your unique dental needs and desires. Your Rye smile will be uniquely yours. The PDP was born of this exceptional approach to relationship based patient care.
